Join the Center for Christian Civics and special guest Lisa Rodriguez-Watson of Missio Alliance for fifteen minutes of life-affirming prayer in the midst of a dispiriting and divisive time.
Our July 17 prayer call will include prayers for those affected by gun violence, the fear and uncertainty of rising political violence, and the role the church can play as people of peace in violent times.
About the Prayer Calls
This is the latest in a new series of prayer calls led by the Center for Christian Civics and co-hosted by our friends at Christians for Social Action. These prayer calls bring together people of faith from around the country and across the political spectrum to seek God’s vision for how the church can better witness in a divisive election year. Held twice a month, they are open to pastors, political practitioners and anyone who follows Jesus and wants to see the church heal our broken politics.
Each fifteen-minute call features three guided prayers led by ministry leaders and public servants from around the country, as well as members of the CSA and Christian Civics teams.
