Faith & Politics Prayer Call

Prayer that models Christian faithfulness in a divisive election year.

Join the Center for Christian Civics for fifteen minutes of guided prayer for the health of our political process and the effect it is having on our witness to the wider world.

Our June 19 prayer call will include prayers commemorating the end of slavery in the U.S. and prayers confronting the isolation, loneliness and alienation of U.S. politics.

We will be joined on this call by Mark Ji Young Oh, Associate Director of Christian Embassy DC.

About the Prayer Calls

This is the latest in a new series of prayer calls led by the Center for Christian Civics and co-hosted by our friends at Christians for Social Action. These prayer calls bring together people of faith from around the country and across the political spectrum to seek God’s vision for how the church can better witness in a divisive election year. Held twice a month, they are open to pastors, political practitioners and anyone who follows Jesus and wants to see the church heal our broken politics.

Each fifteen-minute call features three guided prayers led by ministry leaders and public servants from around the country, as well as members of the CSA and Christian Civics teams.
